ANTI HARASSMENT POLICY

We at Otaku Jatra have a ZERO tolerance policy towards harassment of any kind, including but not limited to:

Stalking
Offensive Verbal Comments
Harassing Or Non-Consensual Photography Or Recording
Bathroom Policing
Unwelcome Physical Attention
Intimidation
Physical Assault
Disruption of Events
Inappropriate Physical Contact
Hate Symbols

In relation, but not limited to:

Race
National Origin
Gender Identity
Sexual Orientation
Body Size
Appearance
Citizenship
Color
Gender
Gender Presentation
Age
Disability
Religion
Pregnancy

So please keep your hands to yourselves. If you would like to take a picture with or of another fan, always ask first and respect that person’s right to say no. When at Otaku Jatra, be respectful, be nice, be cool and be kind to each other.

Otaku Jatra’s staff members will take prompt action in any form they deem appropriate, including expulsion from the convention, if anyone is found to be engaging in harassing behavior.  The policy applies to everyone, including exhibitors, fans (attendees), speakers, guests, professionals, press, staff, crew, and security.

To report any incident at Otaku Jatra, please contact us directly through the phone numbers given on our Contact Us page, or visit the nearest Organizers Desk at the convention. The team shall deploy necessary staff members and security members to deal with the issue until you feel safe again.

Otaku Jatra’s mission is to create a fun, safe, welcoming, awesome event where fans of all kinds can come together and celebrate. We want you to not only have the most amazing weekend ever, but to experience it in an environment where you are safe and accepted. As fans ourselves, we understand the importance of creating a safe space for everyone who attends Otaku Jatra.
